Student/Alumni Seminar
After a fantastic tailgate we are now planning our next event! Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 20, we’re planning an event with the students at MSU, but we need your help! We’re looking for ideas on a helpful/informative seminar for the students and for alumni who can visit and share their expertise and portfolios. If you have any ideas or would like to take part in this event please e-mail us at msutelecasters.alumni@gmail.com. We want to act as soon as possible!
Nominate Bob Albers for Faculty Impact Award
Please nominate Bob Albers for the 2010 Faculty Impact Award! The form is located here on the CAS website. Deadline is January 29, 2010. Nominations are due to Andrea Kovac, kovacand@msu.edu. We really want to make this happen! Bob is a role model and mentor to so many of us.
Our First EVER Tailgate
A big thank you to everyone who attended our 1st annual Telecasters Alumni Fundraising Tailgate. It was a rousing success, and a ton of fun meeting current Telecasters and connecting with alumni. Please post your pictures to the Telecasters facebook group for everyone to see! We plan on making this bigger and better every year, so if you have any suggestions, let us know! And stay tuned for our next social event!
New Student Scholarship!
We are establishing a scholarship for current students. Look for soon-to-come updates on who can apply and how. We are looking for donations as well as interest in starting an endowment. Please contact Pam Saunders, pam.telecastersalum@gmail.com, if interested.
