Telecasters Scholarship Campaign
Fundraising campaign begins November 25.
Thank you for your interest in donating to the MSU Telecasters Scholarship Campaign. Your offering will allow students who are passionate about the communications industry, and are eager to share their Telecasters experiences, to earn funds to put toward MSU tuition and books.
Donations to the MSU Telecasters Scholarship Campaign will fund at least one $500 scholarship to be awarded in May to a student Telecasters member. Donations that grow the scholarship fund beyond $1,000 will be used toward future scholarships, Telecasters Alumni Group events in support of student programs, and dedicated to an endowment fund.
In March 2010, the Telecasters Scholarship application process will begin. Eligible students competing for a scholarship will be asked to submit an essay detailing their experience with Telecasters and how future students can benefit from this student group. Scholarships will be awarded in May 2010.
The MSU Telecasters Scholarship Campaign is a function of the MSU Telecasters Alumni Group, a non-profit alumni group chartered through the Michigan State University Alumni Association. Donations to the scholarship fund are dedicated to the Telecasters Scholarship Campaign through the MSU College of Communication Arts and Sciences, and on behalf of the Telecasters Alumni Group and it's mission to support and sustain MSU Telecasters students. All donations are tax deductible.
